I can not remember a time in my life when I did not stop what I was doing to look up when ever I heard an airplane fly overhead. Not counting rubber band powered airplanes in the grocery store check out lines, I flew my first powered model in December 1975, when I was 8 years old. Later in High School I graduated from control line models to remote control models.  I am still very active with remote control aircraft today.

In 2002 when I turned 35 I finally achieved a life long dream, I obtained my private pilot license.  I also began construction of a workshop on my property in which to build the Murphy Moose kit aircraft that I purchased... it was a busy year! In addition to the Murphy Moose I am building I have also built and registered a Quicksilver MX. Unfortunately the MX was severely damaged in a wind storm and is currently hanging from rafters in my shop.

I host a forum site for my R/C club where members chat and share photos.

I also have a web site setup to document the construction of my Murphy Moose. This site is setup to provide both an informative place for people to go and see what building this type of aircraft is like, and to maintain the build documentation required by the FAA.

I have also started a BLOG... just trying it out to see if it's something I was to do.  It is nice to be able to rant once in a while. ;-)
